This Privacy Policy explains what information Freshly Maid collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and services (the “Platform”).

Freshly Maid is a trade name operated by TiposIt Holdings LLC (DBA Freshly Maid) (“Freshly Maid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information you provide — name, email address, password, and role (Client or Maid).
  • Profile and service information — for Maids, this includes display name, bio, photo, service area (ZIP codes), and the services offered; for Clients, this includes service address and booking details.
  • Booking and transaction information — jobs, schedules, messages, job photos, reviews, and payment records.
  • Payment information — handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Background-check information — for Maids, identity and screening results processed by our background-check provider.
  • Technical information — device, browser, IP address, and usage data collected automatically as you use the Platform.

2. How we use your information

We use information to:

  • create and manage your account and provide the Platform;
  • match Clients and Maids, schedule services, and process bookings and payments;
  • verify Maid identity and eligibility through background screening;
  • communicate with you about bookings, support, security, and updates;
  • maintain safety, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms; and
  • improve and develop the Platform.

3. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Platform, including:

  • Between Clients and Maids — to enable a booking (for example, a Client's service address is shared with the assigned Maid; a Maid's profile is shown to Clients).
  • Service providers — including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe (payments and payouts), and our background-check provider, who process data on our behalf.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain certain records (such as transaction and screening records) for longer where required by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You may review and update your account information at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@gotitmaid.co. We will respond as required by applicable law. 8. Background checks (FCRA notice)

For Maids, background screening is conducted through a third-party consumer reporting agency. Where applicable, this screening is subject to the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and similar state laws, which require your consent and provide you with certain rights regarding the information collected and any adverse decisions based on it. 9. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above.
